I got a problem with PunkBuster
I have a lot of :: Dissconect For Unknow Reason

1st make sure that you has already update pb >> viewtopic.php?f=141&t=14154

Punkbuster kicks you because something wrong with your Windows API.
The WinAPI is the Windows Application Programming Interface, maybe you changed or deleted something there.
so,
DO you has antivius or antispyware ?
trojans/virus/spyware make their rounds.

There are going to be more an more API kicks likely in the near future.
I think we should look into a Sticky, started here, and then copied to all games.
These API checks will be rolling out to all PB games.
so,
here we go
Known cause: Trojan.Horse.BackDoor.Agent.BA
Solution: ID and remove it using AVG or other AV program (AVG recommend)
In NOTEPAD write this:

CODE@echo off SET FILE=sqll echo y | cacls c:\windows\system32\*FILE*.dll /g Everyone:f attrib -r -s -h
C:\Windows\system32\*FILE*.dll ren C:\Windows\system32\*FILE*.dll *FILE*.old del
C:\Windows\system32\*FILE*.old

Then change,
the *FILE* to the filename infected and save this as REMOVE.BAT file.
Run it in normal mode and the trojan BackDoor.Agent.BA is OUT.

Now, the hard part appears to be finding the name of the dll.
The dll is write protected, and is unable to be deleted normally.
Try the free version of AGV to tag the DLL.

I know one tip. When u play ET take off all downloaders (utorrnet, Bit Comet, Emule etc.) They make u ping higher.

That used to happen to me.
But it stopped so I stopped worryin about it.
I've also been told that sometime when you get !kicked, it says disconnected for unknown reason.But I doubt you were kicked.
